Position Summary

ECS is seeking an Information System Security Officer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring security controls for enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies. This position is pivotal in maintaining security documentation, supporting assessment and authorization activities, and ensuring continuous monitoring across both development and operational environments, thereby contributing to the overall mission success of the ARNG ENOCS program.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor security controls for enterprise applications in line with RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive security documentation to support assessment and authorization processes.
  • Track and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Validate vulnerability remediation efforts to maintain system security integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with continuous monitoring programs across development and operational environments.
  • Coordinate with system owners and engineering teams to uphold security compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 722-Information Systems Security Manager at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): GMON, SecurityX / CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP
  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance and system security oversight within DoD or Federal IT environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation and monitoring of security controls for enterprise systems.
  • Proven ability to maintain system security documentation and support assessment and authorization activities.
  • Experience in coordinating with engineering teams to ensure security compliance.
  • Familiarity with tracking and managing POA&Ms for vulnerability remediation.
