Full Job Description
We9re seeking a dedicated Information Security Systems Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. The candidate will have experience in end to end ownership of planning. This includes the total systems lifecycle of planning, crafting, implementing, operating and optimizing organization-wide systems which align with United States federal laws. What you9ll be doing:
  • Implement features and functionality required by an organization wide system compliant with 800-171 & CMMC requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and implement elegant solutions to enable business
  • Partner with vendors and solution providers
  • Coordinate with security and compliance teams
  • Recommend and implement optimizations
  • Support audit initiatives
  • Customer and incident service management (as needed)
What we need to See:
  • An active Secret clearance with ability to attain higher clearances as needed
  • 5+ years of the following experience:
  • Systems administrator with Azure tenant (hosted via a MSP) and/or other equivalent virtualized environments (Hypervisor concepts, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Citrix)
  • GPO, AppLocker experience and DLP
  • Performance and log monitoring
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud technology solutions which enable business
  • Familiar with system accreditation framework and system compliance against controls
  • Advanced skills in data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting compliance metrics.
  • Familiar with roles of Contract Security Officer (CSO) or Federal Security Office (FSO); ability to backup primary NPS Security Lead; ability to obtain certification as needed.
  • Bachelor9s degree in Information Security, IT, Compliance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Operating organization wide systems compliant with NIST 800-171 / CMMC / FISMA / FedRAMP
  • Solid understanding of export controls including but not limited to ITAR / EAR / ACS IFR
  • Familiar with DOD clearance processing requirements, SEAD 3, SEAD4 and the 13 adjudicative standards, and tracking of personnel security clearances and associated investigation requirements
  • Contract Security Officer (CSO) or Federal Security Office (FSO) with DCSA certification
  • Host pool management, session hosts, FSLogix profiles (nice to have)
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 224,250 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD for Level 4. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
