Post Quantum Cryptography Engineer
The Opportunity:Use your network engineering, cloud administration, and software development skill set to implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solution architectures across a variety of reference architectures. Work on transitioning products, systems, and environments to post-quantum standards. Use comprehension of operating system environments, network configuration, and cloud platforms to analyze the development of advanced methodologies to help promote cutting-edge analysis of PQC advancements and tooling. Leverage cybersecurity experience to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information system assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
You Have:- Experience in applied cryptography, cybersecurity research, or mathematics, including PQC
- Experience with software development, cybersecurity, or network engineering
- Experience with AWS such as EC2, IAM, VPC, or KMS
- Experience leading and managing small projects
- Experience with programming in Python, Rust, or C++ and low-level programming concepts
- Knowledge of secure network protocols software, public key infrastructure, and the services that use them
- Ability to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts using information security, including systems and network security
- Ability to convey complex concepts and work collaboratively with a varied audience
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:- Experience configuring, automating, or managing cloud-based testbeds and lab environment
- Experience managing security controls, vulnerabilities, and cost optimization of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) services
- Experience with cloud architectures and key management strategies
- Experience with Linux and Windows fundamentals
- Experience with digital forensics, secure software development, or penetration testing
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity risk management process and governance, risk, and compliance strategies and tools
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
