Overview

The Opportunity:

As Information Security Documentation Analyst, you will support the Information Security department through technical writing, process documentation, knowledge management, business process analysis, reporting, and operational support activities. You will partner with with Information Security, Technology, Project Management, and business stakeholders to document processes, improve operational workflows, maintain knowledge repositories, support training and awareness initiatives, and assist with governance and reporting activities. You will help transform complex technical and business information into clear, actionable documentation while supporting the maturity and effectiveness of Information Security programs.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Document Information Security processes, workflows, standards, and operating guides.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, playbooks, and process documentation.
  • Create role-based guides, onboarding materials, and team reference documentation.
  • Maintain Information Security documentation repositories, standards, and templates.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Partner with Information Security teams to document current-state and future-state business processes/workflows.
  • Support process standardization and operational maturity initiatives.
  • Help document recommendations and improvements resulting from business-process consulting engagements.
  • Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, and support documentation.
  • Organize and maintain Information Security knowledge assets.
  • Improve documentation governance and version control practices.
  • Support audit, compliance, and evidence collection activities through documentation management.
  • Support development of cybersecurity training resources and awareness materials.
  • Create job aids, quick-reference guides, presentations, and training documentation.
  • Support training content development related to Information Security programs and initiatives.

Your Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of technical writing, documentation, business analysis, process management, or instructional design experience.
  • Experience documenting technical or business processes.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Experience supporting Information Security & Technology technical writing.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
  • Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting training development or knowledge management programs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
  • $90,000 - $130,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
