Program Overview

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

Position Summary

ECS is seeking an Information Exchange Engineer - Journeyman to support the ARNG ENOCS program by designing and implementing critical system-to-system integrations and data exchange solutions. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure and efficient data transmission across enterprise systems, contributing to the overall mission success by enhancing interoperability and data integrity within the Army National Guard's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure secure data transmission mechanisms are in place, adhering to cybersecurity policies.

  • Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and infrastructure teams to ensure interface functionality and data integrity.
  • Support the development and implementation of enterprise architecture standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system efficiency and reliability.


Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Basic proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-10 years of experience in system integration, information exchange, or interface engineering within DoD or Federal IT environments
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing system-to-system integrations and data exchange solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain interface control documentation
  • Experience in implementing secure data transmission mechanisms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and interface functionality
