The Information Assurance II provides IA support for DUSN (M) claimancy applications, systems and networks for the Department of the Navy Office of Administration (DON OA) 6 Information Technology Division (ITD).

• Sustain and upgrade Information Systems within the supporting labs and projects.
• Provide expertise in the IT and IA/Cyber fields to support the Government in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, administration, and sustainment of all networks and standalone computer systems.
• Document modification or alteration of the certification and accreditation of the lab space.
• Make recommendations for future upgrades to computer systems with the goal of maintaining adequate lab facilities required to execute the mission at hand.
• Assist in the detailed selection and purchase of software, tools, laboratory and computer equipment.
• Plan and implement lifecycle upgrades as approved by the Government.
• Coordinate and support equipment installation, commissioning, training, and supporting operation.
• Perform hardware installation of end-user devices to include computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware.
• Implement and validate appropriate patches are implemented on servers for operating system and database software.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years experience or AA/AS with seven years of relevant experience
• Registered IAT Level II baseline certification: either CCNA Security, CySA+**, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND and SSCP (preferred Security+ CE certificate)
• Secret Clearance
