Full Job Description
We're looking for an Influencer Marketing Specialist to join Relay's influencer team sitting within the larger brand org. You'll support campaign execution, creator research, brief development, content review, and post-campaign analysis. You'll also serve as the primary point of contact for Relay's affiliate program, owning day-to-day affiliate communication, onboarding, and reporting with backup from the broader team on deal terms, compliance calls, and performance escalations.

This is a high-leverage role for someone with 2-3 years of marketing experience (ideally with foundations in social, influencer, content, or campaign coordination) who wants to specialize in influencer marketing and grow into a creator program owner over time. As you build judgment, platform fluency, and creator relationship skills, your scope will expand-starting with affiliate ownership and growing into onboarding small influencer partners with supervision, then into independent partnership ownership.

You'll partner cross-functionally with Brand, Social, CX, and Demand Gen to keep creator and affiliate work integrated with broader marketing moments. You bring curiosity, urgency, and a developing point of view on the creator economy-and you treat every campaign as a chance to sharpen your craft and contribute fresh ideas to a program that's investing in becoming best-in-class.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for Relay's affiliate program, managing affiliate communications, tracking performance, and escalating deal terms or compliance edge cases to senior team members
  • Support the team current team of Influencer managers across end-to-end campaign execution-coordinating timelines, maintaining trackers, drafting briefs and outreach messages, and ensuring assets are submitted, reviewed, and published on schedule
  • Research and build prospective influencer lists across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters), surfacing creators whose audiences align with Relay's SMB ICP and flagging non-traditional creators with latent SMB-owner concentration
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Copy.ai, and similar) to accelerate first drafts of briefs, outreach messages, post-campaign summaries, and competitive scans
  • Review influencer content for formatting, compliance (FTC, usage rights), and brand fit before escalating to senior team members for final approval
  • Over time and with supervision from senior team members, take on direct onboarding of smaller creator partners-drafting their briefs, managing their communications, and shepherding their content through production
  • Track platform changes, FTC compliance updates, and emerging creator and affiliate trends, sharing relevant insights with the team in standups and async channels

Who You Are
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, content, campaign coordination, or affiliate/partnership support, with at least some exposure to influencer or creator marketing
  • You're self motivated-you anticipate what your team needs, prepare drafts and checklists that help campaigns move faster, and take pride in clean follow-through
  • You're curious about the creator economy and follow it actively; you can identify creators before they trend and share fresh ideas with the team without being asked
  • You're an excellent written communicator who can draft creator outreach, affiliate updates, and brief content with clarity, professionalism, and warmth
  • You're organized and detail-oriented; you maintain trackers, hit deadlines, and keep documentation up to date so your team has visibility without having to chase you
  • You have working fluency with AI tools and use them to accelerate routine work, not to replace your judgment
  • You're excited about a role that's designed to grow with you-starting with affiliate ownership and support work, expanding into creator partnership ownership as your craft develops

Bonus Points
  • You have experience working with an affiliate platform (Impact, PartnerStack, Tune, Refersion, or similar)
  • You've worked with brands that focus on small business owners, creators, or entrepreneurs
  • You have a personal POV on the creator economy-you follow it closely, save standout campaigns, and bring fresh perspective to your team
  • You have working knowledge of FTC compliance, usage rights, and creator brand safety basics
