Job DescriptionJob DetailsJefferson Abington Hospital is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing team in Abington, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care in a collaborative, academic environment within Jefferson Health, one of the region's most respected health systems.
The successful candidate will join a team of 6 experienced infectious disease specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medical education, and supporting the continued growth of our Infectious Disease program.
Job Description - Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation services, with a wide variety of clinical pathology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of infectious disease specialists, hospitalists, surgeons, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals across multiple departments.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents within a vibrant academic environment.

Qualifications - MD or DO degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Prior inpatient infectious disease experience preferred.
- Interest in teaching, collaboration, and academic medicine is highly desirable.
