Infection Control RN

Full-Time | $106,000-$110,000 per Year | Benefits Available

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Infection Control / Staff Development Coordinator position. This leadership role oversees infection prevention and control while leading staff education, training, and compliance initiatives throughout our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
  • Monitor infection trends, maintain required documentation, and prepare reports.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate staff orientation, education, and ongoing in-service training.
  • Identify infection control concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing on quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Infection control or infection prevention experience preferred.
  • Staff development, staff education, or nursing education experience preferred.
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
