Team OverviewTransUnion's Resident Screening Team sits within its Tenant & Employment Screening business and focuses on helping multifamily property owners, operators, and property managers make smarter, fair, and compliant rental decisions using data and analytics
The Industry Executive is a true hunter position, focused on prospecting, developing, and closing new business with property owners, operators, and management companies. You will report to the Sales Director and own a territory end-to-end, build relationships from the ground up, and play a direct role in expanding TransUnion's presence in a growing, highly regulated market.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
Role Overview and Core Responsibilities- Provide sales coverage for existing accounts in your region
- Prioritize and close new and incremental business within your book of business
- Prospecting to identify new opportunities within your region
- Deliver against stated growth objectives for the business
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the third party collection space, sharing industry knowledge, expertise and insights with your customers, prospects, and team.
- Attend collection conferences and industry events as required
Required Knowledge and Experiences- 3 + years of sales experience in B2B sales or senior property management/tenant screening industry experience.
- Understanding of the rental screening environment.
- Demonstration of the ability to readily share best practices, selling strategies, product and industry knowledge with other team members.
- Understanding of data and analytics relevant to the rental/tenant screening industry.
- Willingness to travel

Pay Scale Information:The U.S. base salary range for this position is $63,000.00 - $105,000 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% - 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
