Job Description:

Role Summary:

Lead industrial and waste site technology strategy and execution to improve jobsite performance, increase adoption, and drive commercial growth. This role translates customer needs and field insights into technology solutions, product improvements, and roadmap priorities while partnering across Go-to-Market, Commercial, product, and external teams.

What You Will Do (Job Duties):
  • Serve as the industrial and waste site technology expert for Go-to-Market and Commercial teams.
  • Lead training, deployment support, and field enablement to increase technology adoption across customer jobsites.
  • Conduct performance studies and jobsite assessments to evaluate effectiveness, identify improvements, and strengthen outcomes.
  • Translate customer requirements, product feedback, and field insights into sales opportunities, business cases, product enhancements, and NPI priorities.
  • Lead customer validation through early-learner programs, field-follow engagements, customer visits, and performance feedback.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute the industrial and waste site technology vision and roadmap.

Top Candidates Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree and advanced degree highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers, dealers, or cross-functional commercial partners to understand needs and define solutions.
  • Familiarity with product development processes, including translating customer requirements into functional requirements and solution outcomes.
  • Ability to represent the customer perspective throughout the development process to ensure solutions deliver intended value and site outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence engineering and development teams using customer-back insights and business priorities.
  • Experience deploying technology solutions in construction, industrial and waste in industry segments.
  • Industrial waste application expertise, including deep workflow knowledge and demonstrated success in delivering customer outcomes.

  • Additional locations: Irving, TX
  • Relocation assistance is available
  • Onsite requirement: 5 days per week
  • Travel: Up to 40% domestic

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
