Job Description:

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Industrial Security Officer at GDIT. Here, you'll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Security Operations.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Industrial Security Officer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Government.
• Performing Personnel Security actions for all personnel supporting DoD, Ft. Meade customers
• Collaborate with Physical Security, Program Security and other Personnel Security team members
• Work with multiple offices within internal and external customers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your security expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Security Officer must have:
• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 2+ years of security operations experience
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI with current POLYGRAPH in order to be considered
• US citizenship required
• Location: Must work out of the GDIT Annapolis Junction office 4 days per week
• Role requirements:

• Current experience conducting security briefings
• Maintain liaison with outside agencies
• Assist employees in acquiring personal security clearance when required
• Enters security information into automated system and develops related reports as needed
• Participates in audits or inspections
• Maintains the organizations physical safety and security systems, including surveillance systems, automated security systems, employee ID systems
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, MS Office, excellent written and oral communication skills, works well in a team and individually

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $90,011. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
