Key responsibilities

We are looking for Commercial Industrial Estate Asset Manager to:
• refine asset strategies based on performance, market trends and investor goals, including recommendations to management
• direct leasing and marketing efforts, including preparing spaces for market, collaborating with brokers, responding to letters of intent and negotiating leases
• oversee third-party property managers, project managers and tax consultants, with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency
• partner with the acquisitions team from underwriting through closing to support smooth asset transitions and informed investment decisions
• support appraisals, refinancing and disposition processes with strategic recommendations and financial analysis
• conduct hold/sell analysis and valuation reviews to support long-term asset value and returns
• analyze property operations, financial statements, budgets and variances, and work with accounting to support accurate monthly and quarterly reporting
• collaborate with joint venture partners and developers on strategic initiatives and development projects, including draw requests from construction through stabilization
• manage capital projects, including recommendations to portfolio management and collaboration with engineering on execution
• support portfolio management with quarterly and ad hoc reporting as needed
The team
You'll be working in the Industrial Team within our Asset Management group in Dallas, Texas. We manage logistics real estate assets and work closely with portfolio management, acquisitions, accounting, engineering and external partners to help deliver investment outcomes.
Your skills and experience
• bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics or a related field, ideally with a master's degree in business administration or equivalent experience
• proven experience in real estate asset management or acquisitions, ideally with commercial or logistics assets
• proficient in Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise, with strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• able to manage multiple complex assets and initiatives independently in a dynamic environment
• good understanding of leasing, property operations, capital planning and financial metrics such as internal rate of return, net present value and cash-on-cash returns
• skilled in negotiating leases and interpreting legal and real estate documents, including letters of intent, leases and joint venture agreements
• strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to management and investor groups
• collaborative, team-oriented and able to build effective working relationships
• willing to travel, including overnight stays
• experience with Yardi and VTS would be an advantage

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 145000 - max USD 200000 /annum
