Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work the night shift from 10:30 PM to 7 AM.
  • Report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Analyze mechanical issues and deliver innovative solutions for equipment failures.
  • Conduct inspections and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Handle various specific maintenance tasks as assigned.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Salary of $47.59 per hour, and night premiums.

  • Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) - Receive 60 cents per hour worked paid every 3 months.

  • Uniforms and Safety Shoes: supplied by the Company.

  • Vacation 2 weeks per year from years 1-4, increasing to 3 weeks per year.

  • 4 float days per year.

  • Tool allowance of 455$/year.

What’s involved in the Milright role:

  • Night shift position - 10:30pm-7am.

  • Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, performing a variety of maintenance services.

  • Analyze mechanical problems; provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills, diagnosing problems and carrying out the repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance WO on all production equipment’s in an acceptable time frame.

  • Other specific duties might be included.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 High School Diploma withvalid Canadian Industrial Millwright License.

  • Minimum 3-5 year experienceworking as Industrial Maintenance Millwright in Manufacturing.

  • Experience with machining shop tools,Stick Welding and Oxyacetylene torch.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work efficiently in resolving urgent issues.

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, EMaint database system an asset).

  • Dairy processing experience an asset.

  • Work independently or in team with little to no supervision.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Must also be familiar with WHMIS, GMPs and good health and safety work practices.

  • Must have a positive 2 Can Do Attitude2 and customer focus.

  • Able to work various shifts.
