Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, operations management, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in industrial engineering concepts and tools such as VSM, flow analysis, and capacity analysis.
• Strong project management skills.
• Effective prioritization skills and resilience in overcoming challenges.
• Bilingual communication skills in French and English.
• High level of initiative, autonomy, and innovative thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement industrial engineering strategies for operational performance enhancement.
• Design and maintain precedence diagrams for assembly stations.
• Balance workstations based on production rate changes and establish work instructions.
• Analyze and configure workstations for optimal material flow and production rate adaptation.
• Determine and plan workforce allocation by trade and shift.
• Develop and monitor labor hour budgets while analyzing variances.
• Define and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency.
• Initiate and lead projects such as Kaizen workshops and factory layout improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues and deploy solutions.
• Prepare presentations for management to communicate issues and results effectively.
