Overview/Summary:
On-Board Industrial Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC / Process Chiller Technician to join our HVAC/R Maintenance Group at a chemical manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of flooded evaporator process chillers, direct expansion (DX) systems, associated cooling towers, pumps, and related equipment. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of refrigeration system design, overall system layouts, electrical distribution, pneumatic systems, DDC controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).

Many of the systems are located outdoors, requiring frequent work at ground level and on rooftops in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be comfortable safely troubleshooting and working with electrical systems operating at 460 volts and above.

The position also participates in an on-call rotation schedule, with a minimum of four hours of overtime pay provided for call-ins.
