Job Description

The Industrial Engineer (IE) will be part of the Advanced Manufacturing group within the Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA) division and will report to the Director of Flexibles Advanced Manufacturing. The IE will be responsible for designing and implementing Discrete Event Simulations (DES) to support strategic decision-making for manufacturing technology investments and operational transformation initiatives. This role will focus on developing multi-year manufacturing transformation roadmaps through facility layout optimization, operational process analysis, and project planning and execution across multi-functional manufacturing sites. The candidate will combine creative problem-solving with strong analytical capabilities to apply IE principles in manufacturing environments. The scope of responsibility will encompass the entire manufacturing ecosystem, including shop floor operations, material flow and logistics, supply chain processes, and production-enabling systems such as ERP, data management, and performance reporting. The IE will leverage data-driven analysis and simulation modeling to identify optimization opportunities, validate investment decisions, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
