INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Solon, OH | M-F | On-site

We're seeking an Industrial Product Engineer to support the transition of products from design to production. This role focuses on ensuring manufacturability, maintaining accurate product data in PLM/ERP systems, and coordinating across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert design outputs into manufacturing-ready documentation (BOMs, routings, work instructions)
  • Support prototype, pilot, and production builds
  • Ensure alignment with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
  • Maintain and manage product data in PLM and ERP systems
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to meet project timelines
  • Identify and resolve industrialization and supply chain risks
  • Support supplier selection and oversee prototype/pre-series builds
  • Manage product configurations and ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities
  • Evaluate engineering changes (ECR/ECO) for cost, lead time, and production impact
  • Contribute to cost tracking and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
  • 5+ years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing/product engineering
  • Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and technical drawings

  • Experience with complex or configurable products (high-mix, low-volume)
