INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERSolon, OH | M-F | On-siteWe're seeking an Industrial Product Engineer to support the transition of products from design to production. This role focuses on ensuring manufacturability, maintaining accurate product data in PLM/ERP systems, and coordinating across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Convert design outputs into manufacturing-ready documentation (BOMs, routings, work instructions)
- Support prototype, pilot, and production builds
- Ensure alignment with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
- Maintain and manage product data in PLM and ERP systems
- Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to meet project timelines
- Identify and resolve industrialization and supply chain risks
- Support supplier selection and oversee prototype/pre-series builds
- Manage product configurations and ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities
- Evaluate engineering changes (ECR/ECO) for cost, lead time, and production impact
- Contribute to cost tracking and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
- 5+ years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing/product engineering
- Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems
- Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and technical drawings
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong cross-functional communication
Preferred- Experience with complex or configurable products (high-mix, low-volume)
