Full Job Description
The Industrial Engineer Job - Assembly will be responsible for direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing. A qualified candidate will utilize Lean concepts to identify and eliminate waste as well as perform time/motion studies using MODAPTS. This position will assist the IE Manager and IE Supervisor with technical services to maintain efficient levels of Lean manufacturing and manning. The Industrial Engineer will support Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) Domains as required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology or similar / equivalent
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime
  • Ability to travel on occasion (10% - 20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing Stellantis Production Way in a union environment
  • Knowledge of time study/standards, ratings, MODAPTS, ergonomic evaluations
  • Knowledge of Chrysler Automated Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS) knowledge preferred
  • Assembly launch experience
  • Kitting and indirect labor experience
