Full Job Description
Advanced Performance Analysis & System Optimization • Lead analysis of production systems (OEE, throughput, cycle time, yield, cost) to identify systemic inefficiencies and constraints • Perform advanced data analysis (regression, hypothesis testing, DOE, capability analysis) to determine root causes and validate improvements • Develop and deploy models for capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and throughput optimization • Establish performance baselines and drive data-driven decision making across value streams Industrial Engineering Leadership • Lead value stream design and optimization through: o Line balancing and labor modeling o Takt-based flow design and production rate optimization o Facility layout and material flow improvements • Develop and maintain standardized labor models, capacity plans, and system performance metrics • Apply advanced industrial engineering concepts to improve flow, reduce variability, and increase system efficiency • Utilize modeling or simulation-based thinking (where applicable) to evaluate production scenarios Lean Six Sigma Project Leadership • Lead high-impact Lean Six Sigma projects aligned to strategic business objectives (cost reduction, throughput, quality improvement) • Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping sessions • Define project scope, develop charters, execute analysis, and ensure measurable results • Deliver sustained improvements in cost, scrap reduction, lead time, and productivity Coaching, Mentorship & Capability Building • Coach engineers, CI leads, and process owners in Lean, Six Sigma, and industrial engineering tools • Train teams on statistical methods, structured problem solving, and process management • Mentor junior engineers (IE I/II) in technical skills and project execution • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making Cross-Functional & Strategic Impact • Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and leadership to align improvement initiatives with business priorities • Lead efforts to simplify, standardize, and replicate best practices across value streams • Support production ramp, rate increases, and new process integration through IE principles • Influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels Performance Governance & Sustainability • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (SQDC, OEE, throughput, cost) • Ensure sustainability of improvements through control plans, standard work, and visual management • Track and communicate project performance, risks, and outcomes to leadership • Drive institutionalization of improvements across the organization Required Minimum Qualifications Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
