Candidate skills & requirements

• B.S. degree in a related technical field (eg: IE, ME, EE) required; or
• Associate degree (in related field) with 3 years related experience; or
• Six (6) years of job related experience.
• Additionally 2-4 years' work experience, required.
• Must be capable of preparing well-written and orderly reports.
• Must have sufficient knowledge of manufacturing and related operations with detailed knowledge of such fields as product design, engineering function, tool design, tool fabrication, space layout, handling equipment, production machinery and equipment, N/C machinery and equipment, factory methods work, etc.
• Must have basic knowledge of trigonometry, algebra and statistics.
• Must have knowledge in inventory management, product data management, monitoring production control and cost, and in manufacturing resource planning.
• PC skills, knowledge of all Microsoft software.
• Must be proficient in motion and time study principles.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering design blueprints, facility lay-out or floor plan blueprints, and/or such drawings, diagrams, and photographs as required by all of the above functions.
