Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Compensation

Job Description

The Industrial Electrician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems within our Chicago bakery. You will utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, minimize downtime, and execute preventive maintenance to optimize production line performance while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work Schedule:

  • Shift Flexibility Required: Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules.


  • Location: On-site at our Chicago Bakery plant.


Salary and Benefits:

The hourly wage for this position is $43.69/hour.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair bakery equipment to maximize operational reliability.


  • Ensure all safety processes are observed, and quality assurance activities are strictly performed.


  • Identify, track, and report technical and equipment losses within your assigned area.

Position Requirements

Education & Certifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED.


  • Preferred: Degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.


Technical Must-Haves:

  • Proven industrial electrical experience working with 480V systems.


  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC & VFD systems.


  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing and production equipment.


  • Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PLC programming, logic modification, and industrial system coding.
