Industrial AI Enginner

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Industrial AI Engineer with 5-8 years of overall Digital experience and strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Cloud Technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, designing, trialing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions that improve manufacturing operations, quality, productivity, maintenance, and supply chain performance.
This role requires hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions in production environments, strong software engineering capabilities, and the ability to collaborate closely with manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations, and digital technology teams. Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or supply chain environments is highly desirable.

What you'll do
• Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade AI and Machine Learning solutions for manufacturing and business operations
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and advanced analytics to improve operational performance
• Develop proof-of-concepts and rapidly assess emerging AI technologies, models, and frameworks
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain stakeholders to define and implement high-value AI use cases
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and AI workflows leveraging enterprise cloud and data platforms
• Develop and deploy Computer Vision solutions for quality inspection, process monitoring, defect detection, and operational automation
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications, platforms, and manufacturing systems
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve deployed solutions through retraining, optimization, and operational feedback
• Support production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis related to AI and data-driven applications
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Application Engineering, and Platform teams to establish AI best practices and reusable frameworks

What you'll bring

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience developing and deploying Machine Learning and AI solutions into production environments
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, logistics, or supply chain industries preferred
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI agent frameworks preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and Industrial IoT platforms is an advantage
• Experience with Computer Vision applications and industrial imaging systems preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proactive and self-driven mindset
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams

Preferred Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, and related cloud services
• Experience developing AI/ML solutions using Python and modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, LangChain, or similar technologies
• Experience with Snowflake, Snowflake Cortex, and modern cloud data platforms
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise and manufacturing sources
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, API development, version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Experience deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments, including monitoring, retraining, and lifecycle management
• Experience developing Computer Vision solutions using OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
• Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data integration technologies
• Familiarity with industrial automation technologies, sensor data, edge computing, and Industrial IoT architectures is preferred

Salary Range
• $105,525 to $195,975
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
