Job Description & SummaryThe role requires a Senior Associate who has a practical, thorough and positive approach to problem solving, who is good with details, confident in liaising with individuals at all levels throughout the firm, has a client service mindset and enjoys acquiring new knowledge/technical skills. The Opportunity: As an Independence Senior Associate, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that'll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn't limited to:
- Serve as a member of the Global JBR Center of Excellence, facilitating and supporting Joint Business Relationship Assessments that directly influence PwC's network strategy and compliance with external regulations and internal policies
- Provide consultation services and guidance to help Partners and client service teams understand the complex nature of the business relationship independence rules
- Stay up-to-date on developments related to joint business relationship assessments by actively participating in the Global JBR community and completing required training
- Supporting the Independence Office and Firm by responding to other, non-joint business relationship consultation requests and operational activities
- Working with independence team members, both onshore and offshore
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects, including general support to other independence activities

The salary range for this position is $62,200 - $103,600. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
