Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain IMS databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize system efficiency.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with application developers to design database schemas and optimize queries.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and security audits.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technologies.
Mandatory Skills: - Strong expertise in IMS DBA, including installation, configuration, and administration.
- Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Proficient in backup and recovery strategies for IMS databases.
- Solid understanding of database security practices and compliance requirements.

The pay range for this role is $110,000- $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
