Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in the design and development of imaging systems and camera modules.
- 4 years of experience working in an imaging and camera module development technical environment.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
- Experience with the testing, calibration, and validation of imaging systems for high-volume consumer electronics.
- Expertise in system-level co-design (imaging hardware, ISP, algorithms) and co-optimization for performance, power, and manufacturability.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing projects and driving cross-functional teams to deliver on a product roadmap.

Responsibilities- Architect the future generations of imaging and camera module hardware systems across Google's hardware portfolio.
- Drive the introduction of novel imaging hardware technologies from concept to production.
- Own the end-to-end design, development, and optimization of advanced imaging hardware systems to achieve imaging performance.
- Develop end-to-end imaging hardware simulation models to correlate hardware specifications with perceived photo and video quality.
