We are currently looking for an ILI Technical Specialist for our Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Verify and evaluate ILI data and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze assessment results and recommend excavations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Prepare, review, and audit assessment reports and project documentation.
  • Perform remaining strength calculations and support repair recommendations.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to ILI data, tool performance, and excavation findings.
  • Develop and maintain ILI-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support the planning, execution, and validation of ILI inspections and provide technical support on ILI technology, data interpretation, and integrity assessments.


REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of Integrity Management and 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195
  • Aptitude and drive to learn ILI technology and data analysis
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications and large datasets
  • Ability to present technical information and recommendations to all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal supervision


PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of gas flow calculations
  • B31G, Modified B31G, and RSTRENG calculation experience
  • 5+ Years ILI Analysis or Project Management Experience
  • Proficient in ILI data software including but not limited to Resolve, Gemini, Iview, Pigprog, Envision, Pipeimage, NIMA, Rosoft, and P6
  • Proficient in gas and liquid ILI operations
  • Anomaly selection and anomaly investigations
  • Corrosion growth methods
  • Procedure development
  • PHMSA audit experience
  • Advanced Excel skills


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
