Full Job Description
Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC Responsible for working with leadership teams to manage projects and programs that support site mission and goals. Responsible for managing programs and projects through the PMI defined five lifecycle phases of a project to achieve specific business goals and objectives defined by site leadership. Assure accurate design and tracking of programs to predict results and outcomes critical to success. Responsible for tailoring the application of the nine project management knowledge areas to meet the needs of the organization. Focused on continuous improvement, responsible for maintaining programs CI goals. As the project management expert, you will provide project and program management training to team members and work to ensure that the best-known methods are implemented. Responsible for driving the ID1 quality programs including Materials Quality and fab readiness, TD and HVM Co-Location quality and risk management, DRAM component and Systems qualifications, Audit and ISO Certification and be key driver of ID1's quality mindset into the organization. Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Work with program sponsors and stakeholders to define the problem to be solved, define project scope, measurements of progress, timelines for milestones and completion, and resources to be used. Apply change management principles (ADKAR, etc) to manage the people side of changes needed for program success. Define terminology to be used across projects and programs. Define and manage the lifecycle for all projects within assigned programs. Define and manage planning and tracking of resource use. Determine and track the performance metrics for the program and the associated projects. Publish regular updates to the organization summarizing project and program performance. Develop reports for users on project and program data. Administration of the software systems used for project and program lifecycle, database, and reporting. Determine content and source for all project and program management training. Create and deliver class content. Create and maintain all documentation for site wide project/program management, and business processes. Primary contact for sponsor regarding technical performance of program towards metric benchmark. Provide consulting to leadership on use of PM skills in site career paths. Define, maintain, and continuously improve business processes used to manage the project and program lifecycles. Insure alignment to worldwide standards. Promote project and program management value and business practices to the organization. Advocate and demonstrate value and use to all team members. Collaborate with sister sites for benchmarking. Responsible for reducing costs associated. Own and complete cost reduction projects, identify cost effective sustaining and manufacturing improvements, minimize regular expenditures, and help to promote a cost-conscious culture. Lead people who are responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to deliver the ID1 expansion. Plan and direct schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor the project from inception through delivery. Work with department heads to align on Fiscal Year Goals, collect and report Key Performance Indicator performance-to-plan for executive updates. Position requires 10% domestic travel. May telecommute from home part-time. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in experience in job offered or in a program manager-related occupation. Position requires experience in: 1.
