Full Job Description
The ICT Manufacturing Quality Systems SME (Level 92) serves as the technical and functional design authority for Assembly Plant floor Systems across North American plants. This role is accountable for end-to-end system ownership, ensuring operational stability, data integrity, and compliance for quality- and shipment-critical manufacturing processes from order creation through vehicle shipment.

The role leads complex, cross-plant initiatives supporting new program launches, major system enhancements, and production readiness, while driving standardization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Acting as the primary interface between ICT, plant operations, Quality, Central Engineering, and strategic suppliers, the SME ensures solutions align with global manufacturing standards, cybersecurity policies, and business priorities, while delivering measurable value to operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical governance, solution direction, and decision-making for quality-critical manufacturing applications.
  • Ensure production stability, data integrity, and availability of quality systems supporting vehicle build and shipment.
  • Lead incident, problem, and risk management for production-critical issues, driving root cause elimination and long-term corrective actions.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of standardized processes and solutions, reducing plant-specific customization where possible.
  • Champion modernization initiatives leveraging automation, analytics, AI/ML, and data quality improvements to enhance manufacturing outcomes.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear solution direction and executable scopes for supplier delivery.
  • Oversee delivery execution, ensuring alignment to schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Provide concise, executive-level status, risk, and decision updates to ICT and business leadership.
  • Provide oversight of strategic suppliers, ensuring adherence to SLAs, cybersecurity requirements, and quality standards.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting manufacturing systems, plant operations, or quality-critical applications in an automotive or industrial environment.
