Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced ICAM Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex Information Technology (IT) projects across the full lifecycle — from concept to implementation — within a federal government environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project delivery, IT operations, identity and access management, and federal security and compliance standards. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and aligned with client requirements.

 

What will you do:

 

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of large-scale IT solutions, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish priorities, determine project resource needs, and acquire necessary assets.
  • Develop detailed project plans based on scope, budget, personnel, and resource availability.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to drive effective planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Break down complex projects into manageable, sequenced tasks to improve turnaround and efficiency.
  • Oversee and coordinate project team activities across multiple functional areas.
  • Maintain communication with federal stakeholders and senior government officials.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and federal security standards.
  • Manage risks, track progress, report metrics, and ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Information Technology domain.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex federal IT projects.
  • Experience supervising IT operations including systems integration, user support, deployment, and training.
  • Strong understanding of IT, Identity and Access Management (IAM), ICAM  and AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Active PMP certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated knowledge of ITIL-based service management.
  • Experience managing Agile development teams and understanding how enhancements or defects impact architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present to senior leadership.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) security clearance.
  • Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science, cloud, and systems engineering. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams, subcontractors, and external service providers.
Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
