Overview
Amyx is seeking a OIM Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)  by engineering, integrating, sustaining, and modernizing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities that support enterprise users, applications, and mission systems. This position works closely with application teams, cybersecurity professionals, infrastructure engineers, and government stakeholders to implement and maintain secure identity and access management solutions across the DLA enterprise. The role supports ongoing operational sustainment, modernization initiatives, application onboarding efforts, and future enterprise identity capabilities aligned with Department of Defense strategic objectives. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in identity governance, access management, authentication services, application integration, and identity lifecycle management while effectively communicating with technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities
  • Engineer, administer, and maintain enterprise ICAM solutions supporting DLA mission operations.
  • Support identity lifecycle management, including account provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance processes.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with identity and access management services.
  • Collaborate with application owners to gather requirements and implement onboarding solutions.
  • Support authentication, authorization, federation, and access management capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot identity-related incidents, integration issues, and access-related problems.
  • Participate in platform modernization and enhancement efforts.
  • Support future enterprise identity initiatives and integration efforts across the Department of Defense.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, implementation procedures, test plans, and operational guides.
  • Execute testing activities and document results for deployments and system changes.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance activities, audits, and access reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to communicate project objectives, status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Participate in technical research and development activities to support innovation and modernization objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Sensitivity Level: Non-Critical Sensitive
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional engineering experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) implementation, engineering, or integration experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise identity governance, access management, and identity lifecycle management solutions.
  • Experience integrating applications with identity and access management platforms.
  • Experience with directory services, authentication, authorization, access provisioning, and access governance concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex identity and access management issues.
  • Knowledge of authentication and federation technologies.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3/T3) background investigation or be eligible to obtain and maintain the required investigation prior to onboarding.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment supporting government and contractor stakeholders.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal government customers.
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of engineering, systems integration, or ICAM experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Access Manager (OAM).
  • Experience supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Identity and Access Management platform upgrades, migrations, or enterprise modernization efforts.
  • Experience supporting enterprise identity modernization initiatives, including migration, transformation, or integration with Department of Defense enterprise identity services.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with federated identity services.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense enterprise identity initiatives and architectures.
  • Experience supporting Zero Trust implementation efforts and identity-centric security models.
  • Experience with application onboarding, access governance, role engineering, and process automation.
  • Experience supporting RMF-authorized environments and cybersecurity compliance activities.
  • Experience with REST APIs, automation, and scripting solutions.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a general understanding of cloud-based technologies, applications, and services.
  • Experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or modern software delivery environments.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, or providing technical leadership across project teams.
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Oracle, Microsoft, or identity and access management certifications.
