Job Summary
Seeking an experienced IBM iSeries RPG IV Programmer responsible for analysis, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, integration, and support of business-critical applications.
This role requires strong hands-on RPG IV development combined with business/systems analysis capabilities and the ability to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG IV.
Analyze existing IBM iSeries applications and determine required modifications.
Develop new functionality and maintain existing systems.
Gather and analyze requirements directly from client customers.
Translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
Support systems involving order entry, inventory, labor, billing, payments, and reconciliation.
Develop and maintain interfaces with central client systems.
Troubleshoot application and production issues.
Perform unit, integration, and application testing.
Participate in implementation and ongoing production support.
Provide technical direction and test other programmers' work when required.
Work independently where detailed programming specifications may not be available.
