Position Description:

The Identity & Access Management Analyst supports the enterprise identity and access management program through user access lifecycle management, access governance, entitlement administration, compliance support, and IAM project delivery. This role helps ensure access to systems and applications is provisioned, modified, reviewed, and removed in a secure, timely, compliant, and well-documented manner.

The position partners with Information Security, IT Engineering, application owners, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to support IAM operations, user access reviews, role-based access controls, provisioning workflows, audit evidence, and process improvement initiatives. The role requires strong analytical ability, process discipline, attention to detail, and working knowledge of IAM platforms, ticketing systems, and Agile work management tools.

Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer user access lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover, and leaver activities, in accordance with established procedures, service levels, and internal controls.
  • Process access requests, modifications, and terminations, ensuring requests are complete, authorized, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Investigate and resolve access discrepancies, provisioning issues, entitlement questions, and user access exceptions.
  • Support entitlement governance, role-based access control models, least-privilege access, and segregation of duties expectations.
  • Partner with application owners, Information Security, IT Engineering, and business stakeholders to validate access requirements and support appropriate access design.
  • Assist with User Access Reviews, access certifications, control testing, audit requests, and regulatory or SOX-related evidence collection.
  • Provide documentation and implementation evidence for controlled deployments, access changes, and IAM process activities.
  • Participate in IAM projects, including access automation, entitlement catalog enhancements, role engineering, workflow improvements, and IAM platform enhancements.
  • Support change management activities, including testing, validation, user acceptance support, production readiness, and post-implementation review for IAM-related changes.
  • Create, update, and manage work items, user stories, backlog artifacts, and task documentation in Azure DevOps or similar Agile work tracking tools.
  • Participate in Agile delivery routines, including stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint execution, and delivery tracking.
  • Maintain IAM procedures, standards, process documentation, job aids, and operational reference materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve access management processes, automate repetitive tasks, strengthen governance, and improve operational consistency.
  • Support training, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder communication related to IAM processes, tools, and access governance expectations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, or other related technical field.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in identity and access management, information security, IT compliance, access administration, or related technology control functions.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user provisioning, lifecycle workflows, entitlement management, and role-based access control.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile work tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of access governance, least-privilege access, segregation of duties, audit evidence, and internal control expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
