Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Tessera is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Assembly Production Supervisor to join our growing manufacturing team in Auburn, Washington. The Hydraulic Assembly Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations within a hydraulic assembly environment. This role is responsible for supervising assembly personnel, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring hydraulic components and systems are assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and production targets. The supervisor serves as the primary link between production teams, engineering, quality, and materials, with a strong focus on safety, throughput, workforce development, and continuous improvement.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assemble hydraulic components and subassemblies in accordance with aerospace drawings, parts lists, and engineering specifications.
  • Install hydraulic, mechanical, and related components per required specifications and quality standards.
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Perform electrical bonding procedures in compliance with engineering and quality requirements.
  • Assemble components, including cotter pins, torque seals, and lock wire, to ensure safe and compliant assemblies.
  • Perform general sealing procedures, apply torque seals, and complete required part marking.
  • Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as wrenches, torque wrenches, pliers, calipers, protractors, and other measuring and assembly tools.
  • Access and utilize engineering reference systems and portals to obtain drawings, specifications, and build instructions.
  • Accurately document work progress and track production movement using the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 6S and lean manufacturing principles. Must comply with FOD prevention practices.
  • Meet established productivity, performance, safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Communicate production delays, quality issues, or process concerns to appropriate management personnel in a timely manner. Able to generate solutions for quality and on-time delivery issues.
  • Monitor and train Assembly Technicians to ensure output meets customer quality and delivery requirements
  • Able to interpret and fulfill Boeing Bill of Materials per P-Copy flow down.
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Boeing portal access, shipping system, squawk process a plus.
  • All Other Duties as Assigned.


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3 - 5 years of previous Hydraulics or Engineering experience is required.
  • Combination of previous experience and education will be considered.
  • Previous experience in HBU Assembly, or Hydraulic Assembly is preferred.
  • Must be able to read specifications and interpret engineering drawings.
