Job Overview
Responsible for supervising employees and performing day-to-day operations to accomplish contractual obligations for the NBPL Generators & HVAC Chiller Maintenance task order. Responsible for daily operation and oversight of all HVAC technicians, responsible asset management, and personnel administration. Duties also include maintenance of equipment in assistance to field technicians, administration of service call and preventative maintenance schedules and operations, response to service calls and quality control inspections of maintenance and repair activities. Also responsible for the generation of estimates for repairs discovered from preventative maintenance and service calls.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
• Act as official representative for CSE at NBPL Generators & HVAC Chiller Maintenance.
• Assist in generating schedules and proposals.
• Responsible for the timely completion and quality of all work and services performed by CSE and its subcontractors.
• Recommendations for all personnel actions and programs for CSE employees on the task order.
• Responsible for the health and welfare of CSE personnel on the job, as well as for compliance with all OSHA and EM385 requirements in the workplace.
• Responsible for compliance with all environmental laws, and directives as applicable to the environmental for work performed by DBSI and subcontractor personnel.
• Responsible for assistance in all documents and reports submitted to the government and CSE.
• Accountable for all activities involved in the performance of the NBPL Generators & HVAC Chiller Maintenance task order.
Pay Range: $85K - 95K DOE
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Secret Security Clearance.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracting, with at least 5 years' experience in Base Operating Services management (BOS).
• Strong proficiency in HVAC systems, Building Control systems, and energy management systems.
• Knowledge of generally accepted standards of workmanship in maintenance of facilities, including but not limited to electrical repairs.
• Knowledge of government contracting terminology and applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Continuing education/ classes in engineering, general construction or business administration.
• Ten years' experience at a supervisory level.
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed mostly indoors. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.
• Work hours are subject to change, with weekend work or long hours as needed.
• Subject to hazards that may cause personal bodily harm; diseases, cuts, bruises, burns, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
• Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces
• Must be able to work under, in or around buildings, structures, or fixtures, such as ducting systems, attics or crawl spaces.
Physical Requirements:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision.
