Project Manager

In this project leadership role, you will manage Major Projects valued at $1M+ from turnover through closeout. You will be responsible for project execution, customer satisfaction, financial performance, schedule management, and safety while coordinating field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

What you will do
  • Lead assigned projects from planning through completion and closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, billings, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans.
  • Coordinate project activities with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
  • Identify, price, negotiate, and recover change orders.
  • Review contracts, specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct customer meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Support commissioning, turnover, and customer training activities.
  • Promote strong safety practices and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.

How You Will Do It
  • Take ownership of project outcomes from kickoff through warranty.
  • Balance safety, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
  • Partner with field operations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project finances through accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Communicate effectively and drive accountability across the project team.

What we look for

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field required.
  • 2-5 years of experience managing commercial construction, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, controls, or related projects.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
  • Working knowledge of project financials, forecasting, contract administration, and change order management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred
  • Experience managing projects valued at $1M or greater.
  • Experience with HVAC, building automation, mechanical construction, or other complex building systems.
  • PMP, CAPM, CMIT, or other relevant certifications.


HIRING SALARY RANGE: $105,000 -125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
