Position Summary:Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the HVAC Project Manager is responsible for delivering a large-scale multifamily project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This hybrid position requires a strong field presence as well as strategic office leadership to coordinate subcontractors, manage materials and schedules, and ensure project success through proactive risk and change management.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full lifecycle of a HVAC installation project
- Maintain ownership of scope, schedule, and budget for the project
- Manage project schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate materials to ensure project completion on time and within budget. Identify concerns and escalate early for proper resolution
- Collaborate with other trades to meet project milestones
- Process RFIs, ASIs, and Change Orders in accordance with contracts
- Ensure all documentation is provided for project status using technology and outlined processes
- Maintain consistent communication with the GC, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Track project status, risks, and action items using project management tools
- Provide strong field oversight with regular communication and onsite presence to ensure project compliance and quality
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Proven experience managing HVAC projects in multifamily new construction, including large-scale/high-rise developments
- Strong knowledge of technology solutions used in the construction
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation processes, sequencing, and coordination with other trades
- Proficient in field layout tools and technologies used for HVAC installation, coordination, and project execution
- Strong track record of collaborating effectively with General Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders from start to finish
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
