CPI Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team in Mount Vernon, Washington. If you take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, leading installation projects, and creating an exceptional customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for a motivated professional who enjoys working independently, mentoring others, and installing residential HVAC systems the right way-the first time.
What You'll Do
  • Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
  • Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-split systems, ductwork, and indoor air quality equipment.
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor installation apprentices and junior technicians.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
  • Complete required job documentation, photos, and installation paperwork accurately.
  • Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and service teams to ensure efficient project completion.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
  • Previous experience leading installation crews preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Heat pumps
    • Gas furnaces
    • Air conditioning systems
    • Ductless mini-splits
    • Sheet metal and duct modifications
