HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team in Mount Vernon, Washington. If you take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, leading installation projects, and creating an exceptional customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for a motivated professional who enjoys working independently, mentoring others, and installing residential HVAC systems the right way-the first time.
What You'll Do- Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-split systems, ductwork, and indoor air quality equipment.
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.
- Supervise and mentor installation apprentices and junior technicians.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
- Complete required job documentation, photos, and installation paperwork accurately.
- Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and service teams to ensure efficient project completion.
Qualifications- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Previous experience leading installation crews preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Heat pumps
- Gas furnaces
- Air conditioning systems
- Ductless mini-splits
- Sheet metal and duct modifications
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read installation plans and equipment specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications- Washington HVAC certifications/licenses
- Experience with IAQ products and accessories
- Sales or customer education experience
