DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this Human Services Program Representative 1 position, you will focus on supporting and monitoring community programs that provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and developmental disabilities, and their families. Your work will help ensure that counties and providers follow important requirements as they provide consistent, quality, adaptable services. Responsibilities in this role include:
- Program Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of administrative entities and human service providers' implementation of policies, regulations, and waivers
- Technical Assistance: Provide guidance, recommendations, and best practices to ensure programs achieve shared goals, meet individuals' needs, and adhere to state, federal, and other related requirements
- Community Consultation: Meet with individuals, families, and various stakeholders to hear concerns, present information, and build consensus through on-site visits, training, conferences, mentoring, and other collaborative activity
- Analysis: Research and prepare documentation for approval; compile and analyze statistics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Policy Input: Provide recommendations and ideas to support policy and program development
- Interagency Collaboration: Coordinate and participate in the regional implementation and management of special programs projects that expand and enhance the availability of community services

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
