Job Description

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing Human Resources support for all employees to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations, laws, company policies, and safety plans. The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Essential Functions:
• Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts through investigations, and promoting open communication.
• Partner with hiring managers to attract, interview, and onboard qualified candidates for plant operations and functional support roles.
• Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities. Develop retention strategies and succession planning initiatives.
• Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and managing employee development plans.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies. Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Monitor and report on key HR indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness.
• Drive organizational effectiveness through workforce planning and talent strategies
• Coach leadership on goal setting, feedback, and development planning
• Partner with EHS teams to ensure safety compliance in the workplace as well as managing open workers compensation cases

Required Skills:
• Previous experience with AAP, compensation, benefits administration, and human capital planning.
• Solid knowledge of FMLA, benefits administration, and rewards and recognition programs for the workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to work flexible hours.

Desired Skills:
• Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
• Have a strong sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
• Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field. MS or MBA degree is highly desirable.
• Prefer 10-12 years' experience in a Human Resources or related role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading people and obtaining results through others, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience leading teams and managing results through direct reports, co-workers, and team members.
