Full Job Description

Drive human resources strategy across recruitment, employee relations and equal opportunity employment by partnering with leadership to implement initiatives that achieve organizational objectives. As a Manager, Human Resources at Spectrum, you'll combine HR mastery and industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex issues in a fast paced environment. Your work will directly support Spectrum's ability to meet business goals.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement short and long term HR strategies that support organizational objectives and simplify the customer experience
  • Provide consultative HR support to managers and supervisors, including guidance on performance management, employee development and organizational change
  • Ensure legal compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act
  • Oversee employee relations by conducting investigations, managing escalated issues including ethics reports, and ensuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently
  • Oversee recruiting, staffing, onboarding and retention strategies while ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity, Federal Communications Commission and affirmative action requirements
  • Manage HR operations including payroll and commission processing, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers compensation claims, HRIS maintenance and HR communications
  • Lead and develop direct reports, participate in labor relations negotiations and enterprise taskforces, and manage departmental budget and expenses

Required Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, related field or equivalent

Experience
  • 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment
