Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to manage the day-to-day people function for our growing firm. Reporting to firm leadership, this role will oversee talent acquisition, culture, employee experience, benefits, compliance, employee relations, policy, training, compensation, and HR operations across multiple countries.

You will manage the HR team, partner with department leaders, support firm leadership, and handle sensitive employee matters. You'll maintain and improve the employee handbook, HR policies, operating cadence, and core training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an HR resource and advisor to firm leadership; participate in relevant meetings and support compliant employment decisions across a multi-country workforce.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the HR and Recruiting teams; maintain clear responsibilities, escalation paths, service standards, and performance expectations.
  • Manage the firm's recruiting function, including the recruiting team, hiring processes, recruiting performance metrics, employer branding, and day-to-day talent acquisition to support continued growth.
  • Track and report on recruiting KPIs including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, candidate experience, source effectiveness, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Partner with department leaders on workforce planning, organizational needs, and hiring initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations matters, performance concerns, workplace investigations, and sensitive situations; coach leaders through corrective action, performance improvement plans, and separations.
  • Support and execute the firm's culture programs that strengthen connection across in-house and remote teams.
  • Coordinate and improve firm-wide training and development programs, including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, management training, and professional growth.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO, leave administration, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure effective administration of leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability-related matters, and related compliance requirements.
  • Administer compensation processes, salary administration, and bonus planning to support internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain and update the company handbook, HR policies, employee-facing documentation, and HR operating procedures; identify risk areas and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with benefit providers, HR vendors, payroll partners, and recruiting vendors.
  • Maintain and optimize HR systems, reporting, and people analytics to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal communications including newsletters, bulletins, announcements, and video channels.
  • Analyze workforce metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, retention, engagement, and hiring trends to inform decisions.
  • Ensure HR processes and reporting scale effectively with the firm's growth.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including responsibility across multiple HR functions.
  • Experience supporting an HR function for a workforce with both in-house and remote team members, ideally across multiple locations or countries.
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-state employment compliance, including wage and hour laws, leave requirements, employee classifications, and employment practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience supporting talent acquisition teams, recruiting operations, and high-volume hiring across multiple departments.
  • Strong background in employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and handling sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining HR infrastructure, including policies, handbooks, operating models, HR systems, payroll platforms, and organizational structures.
  • Experience supporting training and development programs at an organizational level.
  • Experience administering compensation, benefits, total rewards, salary administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability, performance, and belonging.
  • Excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and discretion.
  • Experience supervising or developing HR team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000. Placement within this range will be based on experience and qualifications.
