We have a great opportunity to hire a talented onsite Human Resources Employee Partner in East Hartford, CT!
What You Will Do:
This person will join a team of HR Employee Partners supporting over 1,900 employees comprised of union production maintenance employees and nonunion salaried located at our East Hartford, CT operations facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and get results
- Effectively execute Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development
- Administer collective bargaining agreement as it applies to assigned employee population
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives
- Conduct investigations and process grievances
- Support collective bargaining process
- Address HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees
- Coach Managers and employees, help them become the best that they can be
- Participate in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs
- Support recruiting and retention strategy, efforts and programs
- Leverage process improvement/lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs
- Lead and support special projects as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizen is required due to government contracts
Qualifications We Prefer:
- MBA or Masters degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
- You have a proven track record of leading change
- Experience with administration of a collective bargaining agreement and its grievance procedure
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Proven customer focused experience and excellent business judgment
- Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities
- High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information is essential
- Strong analytical and systems skills
- Successfully managing multiple, and often conflicting priorities, while maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Dynamic problem solver with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to craft solutions to everyday challenges with creative new ideas

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.
