Full Job Description
Wilkes University seeks an accomplished, people-focused HR leader to serve as the Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources is a key partner to University leadership - supporting employees, strengthening the University's culture, and advancing its mission.

As a trusted advisor to University partners, the Director will have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop people, strengthen employee engagement, and help build an exceptional workplace. We are looking for a collaborative and thoughtful HR professional who brings sound judgment, strong employee-relations skills, and a genuine commitment to serving people. The ideal candidate is someone who can move comfortably between strategic leadership and hands-on HR, build strong partnerships across the University, and approach complex workplace matters with both confidence and compassion.

A bachelor's degree in an appropriate or related field is required. The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of progressively responsible management experience in Human Resources, with prior higher education experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
