  • Serve as a liaison between employees, union representatives, and management to promote effective communication and resolution
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and workplace culture
  • Oversee onboarding and training processes, ensuring all compliance requirements are met

Facility: Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Position: Human Resources Director
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $85,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate coordination, and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave tracking, and HR documentation
  • Partner with department leaders to coordinate employee evaluations and performance management initiatives
  • Interpret and enforce HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, union representatives, and management to promote effective communication and resolution
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and workplace culture
  • Oversee onboarding and training processes, ensuring all compliance requirements are met
  • Manage unemployment claims, conduct internal investigations, and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Support managers with hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies
