Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) is the primary HR leader for assigned sites, responsible for delivering both strategic HR partnership and full spectrum HR execution.
Operating within a four pillar HR model, the HRBP plays a dual role as both a Strategic Advisor and Operational HR Leader. This role requires a hands-on approach, balancing leadership influence with day-to-day HR ownership to ensure business aligned outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Partnership & Business Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership
- Translate business strategy into workforce plans
- Use data to identify trends and drive solutions
- Improve manager effectiveness and leadership capability
- Employee Relations & Workforce Risk Management
- Lead employee relations investigations and actions
- Provide risk-based guidance to leaders
- Ensure compliance with policies and laws
- Partner on complex labor matters
Talent & Workforce Planning (COE's)
- Partner on hiring and onboarding
- Support succession and development planning
- Identify skill gaps and solutions
- Drive performance management outcomes
- HR Operations & Administrative Execution
- Own end to end HR delivery at site level
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and documentation
- Partner with Shared Services but retain accountability
- Ensure accurate system and compliance execution
- Culture, Engagement & Change Leadership
- Champion performance culture
- Lead engagement initiatives
- Support change management
- Drive continuous improvement
QualificationsEducationMinimum Required:- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
Preferred:- Professional HR Certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
ExperienceMinimum Required:- 5+ years' progressive HR experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
- Experience strategics & operational HR
- Knowledge of US/Canada employment law
- Union experience preferred
Preferred:- Experience with various human resource information systems, including UKG
