Job Summary:
The Motion Control Solutions (MCS) Division of the Automation & Motion Control (AMC) Segment is seekingaHumanResourcesBusiness Partner. This serves a dual role as thelocal subject matter expertfor employee relations and a strategic HR partner for assigned client groups.
This roleis responsible fordriving a consistent, compliant, and employee-focused approach to employee relations across the Radford site while partnering with business leaders to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, and business performance.
The ideal candidate brings deepexpertisein employee relations within a manufacturing or highly regulated environment, along with the ability to influence leaders andoperateas a trusted advisor.
Working in close partnership with the HR Business Partner 6 Operations Lead, this role will help drive scalable HR processes, support talent initiatives, andidentifyopportunities for continuous improvement across assigned client groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee RelationsExpertise
Serve as theprimary owner of all employee relations mattersacross the Radford, Virginialocations
Lead and conductcomplex and sensitive investigations, ensuringtimely, objective, and well-documented outcomes
Provideexpert guidance, and training,to leaders and HR team memberson policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and risk mitigation
Ensureconsistency and fairnessin the application of corrective action and company policies
Identifytrends in employee relations data andproactively recommend solutionsto reduce risk and improve engagement
Develop andmaintainstandard ER processes, documentation practices, and investigation frameworks
Partner with HR leadership to ensurecompliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Organizational Coach
HR Business Partner
Act as astrategic HR partnerto leaders withinoperations, commercial and administrative functional groups
Support leaders in: Organizational Design, Workforce Planning and Talent Development.
Provide guidance onperformance management, employee development, and engagement strategies
Partner with leaders to understand businessobjectivesandalign HR initiatives to support outcomes
Support execution of core HR processes including Talent Management Cycles, Performance Management, Employee Engagement Initiatives
Leverage HR data and metrics to provideinsights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Cross-FunctionalCollaborator
Serveas asubject matter expertwithin HR, providing guidance toother HR team members and organizational leaders
Partner with HR Operations and Recruiting to ensureseamless execution across the employee lifecycle
Lead or supportHR initiatives and projectsrelated to policy, culture, engagement, and compliance
Contribute to the development of ahigh-performing, capable HR team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor9s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Possess a minimum of five (5)years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee relations
Demonstrated experience leadingcomplex investigations and managing high-risk employee relations cases
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Ability toinfluence and coach leaders at all levels of the organization
Excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in amanufacturing or high-volume workforce environment
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
Experience building or improving employer relations frameworks and processes
Prior HR Business Partner experience supporting commercial and operational client groups

Compensation:
Expected Base Salary Range:$73,200 - $108,200
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's basepaycompensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,educationand internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
