About the Role

We are hiring an HR Business Partner to provide hands-on HR support across RED Group while partnering with leaders and employees to strengthen our people practices, employee experience, and culture. This role is based in our Metairie, LA office, and partners with leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership & Employee Relations
  • Partner with managers, leaders, and employees on employee relations, HR policies, workplace concerns, and people-related decisions.
  • Coach managers through employee issues, performance concerns, corrective action, and challenging conversations.
  • Manage or support employee relations investigations and identify opportunities to address recurring employee concerns.

Performance & Talent Management
  • Support performance management, including goals, reviews, development plans, and performance improvement plans.
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance, and development conversations.
  • Partner with leadership on talent development, retention, workforce planning, and organizational changes.

Employee Experience & Culture
  • Partner with leadership and the Employee Culture Committee to strengthen employee experience and reinforce RED Group's Core Values.
  • Support engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition, Town Halls, and other culture-building activities.
  • Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.

Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers and Recruiting to support hiring needs and the recruiting process.
  • Prepare offer letters and new-hire paperwork and support onboarding activities.
  • Help ensure a consistent and positive candidate and new-hire experience.

Benefits, HR Programs, Compliance & Immigration
  • Support HR programs, benefits administration, annual renewal, open enrollment, and employee communications.
  • Support employment-based immigration and maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
  • Support compliance requirements, including I-9s, and assist with policy and HR process improvements.

Organizational Growth & Development
  • Partner with leaders to support organizational growth, workforce needs, and changes in structure, responsibilities, and processes.
  • Use HR data, employee feedback, and business needs to identify trends and support decisions.
  • Support organizational development, special projects, and HR initiatives as needed.

General HR Support
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Process employee changes, personnel actions, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and HR reporting.
  • Support job descriptions, training, engagement initiatives, and ongoing HR process improvements.

Offboarding & Termination Processing
  • Coordinate termination and offboarding activities, including HRIS updates, records, and internal coordination.
  • Partner with managers and leadership to ensure appropriate documentation, communication, and follow-through.
  • Support a consistent and professional employee experience throughout the offboarding process.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar broad-based HR role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience advising managers and leadership on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective action, and other people-related matters.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices, with sound judgment regarding when to seek legal or external expertise.
  • Experience supporting employment-based immigration, benefits administration, annual renewal, open enrollment, and HR programs and processes.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth, change management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build trust and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
