Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Wealthspire functions as a dependable resource for frontline leaders, delivering daily support on employee relations, performance management, coaching conversations, corrective action, employee development, and organizational efficiency.

This role involves a strong emphasis on consultation and relationship building, partnering directly with people leaders to handle employee concerns while ensuring uniformity, conformity, and alignment with company policies and values. Key Responsibilities

Leader Coaching & Support
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business leaders and managers.
  • Provide guidance on employee performance concerns, mentor discussions, feedback delivery, and development planning.
  • Help managers navigate difficult employee conversations with confidence and consistency.
  • Mentor leaders on effective people management practices and leadership behaviors.
  • Support managers in crafting and accomplishing performance improvement plans when appropriate.
Employee Relations
  • Handle employee relations concerns from the first report through to resolution.
  • Conduct fact-finding conversations and document employee concerns appropriately.
  • Work together with leaders on disciplinary measures, performance oversight, and terminations.
  • Advance complex investigations and high-risk matters to HR leadership and Legal when necessary.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment procedures.
Performance Management
  • Guide leaders through performance management processes and documentation.
  • Partner with managers to address performance concerns early and proactively.
  • Support employee development planning and progression discussions.
  • Reinforce accountability and performance expectations across assigned groups.
Organizational & Talent Support
  • Work together with leaders on workforce planning, organizational changes, and team efficiency.
  • Support employee retention and engagement efforts.
  • Serve as a connector between leaders and HR Centers of Excellence, such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning & Development.
  • Provide practical and timely HR mentorship that balances employee experience with business needs.
Qualifications

Required Experience
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Established background in supporting managers with employee relations and performance management concerns.
  • Experience supporting frontline leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR guidelines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting financial services, professional services, or a multi-location workforce.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
