Full Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team of committed and talented professionals!

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to community leaders and business office managers on matters related to employee relations. This position is charged with upholding consistency in the application of HR policies and procedures across the organization. By collaborating with organizational leadership, the HR team, and business office managers, the role delivers strategic counsel and support in critical areas, including performance management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication abilities and possess deep human resources knowledge, enabling thorough assessment of organizational needs and effective dissemination of pertinent information.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Oversees workplace investigations from initial intake through interviews, escalation, resolution, or closure
  • Collaborates with Business Office Managers to address and resolve complex employee relations matters
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements regarding daily employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Offers ongoing performance management support to the leadership team, including coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions
  • Reviews trends and metrics from stay interviews and employee feedback, working with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Delivers training and guidance on the exit interview process, and analyzes collected data
  • Facilitates communication between communities and unemployment claims manager, and participates in unemployment hearings when required
  • Partners closely with management and employees to foster positive working relationships, enhance morale, and improve productivity and retention
  • Ensures full compliance with health and safety regulations, while remaining informed of updates to laws and regulations affecting the organization


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources and 5 years of direct HR experience; or 10 years in a Human Resources role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills required
  • Strong facilitation or training skills
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources functions, including, but not limited to, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws (FMLA, PFML, ADA, FLSA)
  • Experience working with managers on complex performance management, disciplinary and termination issues
  • Ability to maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and timely documentation of assigned work
  • Solid analytical and computer skills
  • Must travel within our portfolio, which includes Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York
